my resumeIn 2007, I graduated from The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology with a MA in Counseling Psychology after having completed my clinical internship in war-affected Northern Uganda, East Africa. Since obtaining my MA, I worked as a therapist for children and families in crisis. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Child Mental Health Specialist in the state of Washington. In addition to practicing therapy, I also teach a counseling psychology class as adjunct faculty at The Seattle School. At The Allender Center, I train and supervise clinicians working in the area of trauma and abuse.

In my “former life” I received my BA in Theology from Grove City College in Pennsylvania. From 2001-2005 I worked in various social service realms such as a case manager at an international adoption agency and at a women and family’s homeless shelter.

on the lighter side: I love cycling, baking, farmer’s markets, slow meals with friends, running, and laughing until my stomach hurts. I am a Northwest native but spent my “adult formation” years on the East coast and in Uganda.
